Description of the Project:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

To accelerate industrialization and economic growth, the Government of Bangladesh has adopted an Open Door Policy to attract foreign investment through the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA). BEPZA facilitates investments while ensuring compliance with social, environmental, safety, and labor standards within Export Processing Zones (EPZs). To expand investment opportunities and enhance employment generation, the Honorable Prime Minister approved the establishment of the BEPZA Economic Zone on 1,150 acres of land in Mirsarai, Chittagong, on 28 December 2016. Subsequently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) and BEPZA on 18 May 2017 to implement the initiative.<\/p>\n

Services Provided:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Consultant will undertake their review of previous study reports, carry out a survey, and investigate the project sites physically, performing the analysis and design tasks. The scope of services of this project can be clearly stated as follows: The Consulting Firm Should Follow National and International rules and guidelines for the preparation of the Master Plan and for providing utility services (Water, Gas, Electricity Line, Road, Drain, Footpath Canal, Industrial Plots, and Waste Disposal, etc.). The Consulting Firm should follow\/consult Field \/ Topographical survey data, Historical flood records, Suitable communication linking Roads to provide Mean sea level, Land Development Level, Reduced Level (RL) for utility service, i.e., road, drain, footpath, canal, and filling level for the proposed \u201cBEPZA ECONOMIC ZONE\u201d project. Master Plan should accommodate water, gas, and electricity lines and other utility lines like Internet Line, Cable TV Line, Effluent Collection Network, Sewer Network, Steam Distribution Line, C.C Camera, Surveillance System, etc., separately. The Consulting Firm should demonstrate its evidence of following the National and International rules and guidelines in preparing the Master Plan.
