Description of the Project:

The Bhandal Jhuri Water Supply Project was undertaken by Chittagong WASA to enhance the potable water supply system and improve access to safe drinking water for the growing population within the service area. The project involved the development of water supply infrastructure, including source development, transmission and distribution networks, storage facilities, pumping systems, and associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works. The project aimed to increase water supply coverage, improve system reliability, reduce water losses, and strengthen the overall water supply network to meet present and future demand.

Services Provided:

Provided consultancy services for the planning, feasibility assessment, detailed engineering design, and preparation of tender documentation for the Bhandal Jhuri Water Supply Project under Chittagong WASA. Services included demand forecasting, hydraulic analysis and modeling of the water supply network, design of transmission and distribution pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure. Prepared detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, BOQ, tender documents, and implementation schedules. Coordinated with the client and relevant stakeholders, conducted site investigations, and ensured that the designs complied with applicable national and international standards for water supply systems.
