Description of the Project:

The existing Jetty is one of the most important structures of Mongla Cement Factory (MCF). The Jetty was constructed between 1994 and 1995. After the construction of the Jetty started operating for ocean-going ships for loading and unloading purposes. Two years later, MCF noticed some damage to the Jetty, which needed immediate remedial measures. The project included the renovation and modification works of the jetty, which required a repair/rehabilitation design solution from a reputed consultant.

 

Services Provided:

Review of existing Hydrological and Morphological Study and Jetty level, layout & alignment data. Checking the detailed structural analysis of the Jetty. Additional soil investigation and geotechnical Assessment. Detailed design, working drawings, and drawings for the rehabilitation of the Jetty. Preparation of detailed cost estimate, bill of quantities.
