Project of Description:

IDB bhaban Bangladesh is a 15-Storey Commercial Building with all infrastructures required for a modern Head Quarter Building covering a total area of about 1.65 acres of land. The building has the provision for Central air-conditioning system, lift, standby generator, firefighting system and all modern amenities. The Building comprises of 5-Storey Shopping Complex, library, other utility floor and basement car parking. To meet up with the future demand vertical extension of existing “IDB Bhaban Shopping Complex” along with other facilities shall have to be provided. The Building have to be attractive, sophisticated and economic as well as smoothly functional in all respects. The building will be RCC. column structure, internal & external wall of which will be in as cast concrete or Brick wall.


Services Provided:

Review of existing structure and design of IDB Bhaban Shopping complex. Submission of technical feasibility report whether the proposed vertical extension on the existing structure is permissible along with all technical data validating the recommendations of the firm. Submission of a conceptual design expressing the scope, ideas and possible alternatives of extension. Work methodology without disturbing (or with least disturbance to) the existing structure and keeping the market functional as usual. Submission of a suggested approximate budget for the total extension works if the extension is found feasible. Development of preliminary design with 2D drawings, 3D models and approximate cost. Detail design and development of final drawings and 3D models. Detail specifications of material to be used. Source/Origin of materials and pre-fabrication. Cost estimation and analysis. Bill of Quantity (BOQ). Estimated time frame for completion of the work.  Developing the Retrofitting design of the building. Evaluating the Seismic risk assessment of the Building.
