he main objective of this project is to provide safe drinking water supply for 148 Pourashavas of Different districts of Bangladesh having no piped water supply system. The objectives of the study project are in details are as follows Identify safe drinking water sources with regard to hazardous chemical especially arsenic contamination.
Conduct feasibility study for determining ground/surface source to make sure about quality of water as well as to ensure potential perennial source. Determine water demand and level of services and formulate design criteria to satisfy the basic needs. Preparation of master plans for each town on water supply, sanitation and drainage issues Carrying out of economic and financial analysis to determine the affordability of the beneficiaries and formulation of cost recover mechanism including tariff strategy
Review of existing Hydrological and Morphological Study Report. Carry out and prepare the topographical features of the project area. Detail hydrological analysis of the project area. Soil investigation, Topographic Survey, EIA study etc. Preliminary design, details working design & drawings. Preparation of details cost estimate, tender documents, bill of quantities. Drainage, Culverts, Water treatment Plant (Surface & IRP), Sanitation and Solid waste components. Evaluation of tender bids and assisting the Owner to award the work to the selected worker. Detail supervision of the construction work to ensure quality of work as per specification.
