Project of Description:
The main objective of this consultancy services for the preparation of Architectural and Structural design and detailed estimates for construction of Consultancy Services for Detail design & construction supervision of 90-100-meter RCC Bridge over Monpura lake under the project Bangladesh University of professionals at Dhaka. The specific objectives of the assignment are to provide technical assistance to the executing agency by preparing a design report, construction documents and supervision required for execution of the project. As per TOR the assignment should embody a detailed design and yield a comprehensive report on architectural, engineering design, tender documents and specification. The specific objectives of the present assignment should consider the following tasks in two phases.
Services Provided:
- Design Documentation
The tasks under these phases was assigned to the consultant at the discretion of the Client after Reviewed of Feasibility study carried out accepted by the Client in terms of technical and economic viability of the Bridge. Review Survey (Topo& Hydro) and Investigation (geotechnical). 1. Alternative study of Bridge in layout and Structural form. 2. Review of feasibility Studies. 3. Hydrodynamic model for Bridge design 4. Preliminary Design and Cost estimate 5. Detailed Engineering Design of Superstructure, substructures, and Foundations 6. Detail design of river training works, approach protective works and other protective measures as suggested and reported in the Hydro morphological report 7. Perspective views 8. Animated video clip 9. Construction management plan including site office and yard
- Preparation of Tender Documents including Bill of Quantities, Specifications and Drawings.
Construction Supervision
The tasks under this phase was assigned to the consultant at the discretion of the Client after detailed design stage carried out in Design Documentation Phase is approved by the Client in terms of existing infrastructures and utilities availability of the site.1. Assist BUP Authority in tendering process,2. Project monitoring and supervision,3. Construction schedule & quality control of works,4. Control of Material and equipment schedule,5. Quality assurance and different test reporting, 6. Preparation of security and safety schedule 7. Preparation and submission of progress reports, 8. Support to PIU in case of DPP revision, 9. Ensure proper demobilization,10. Issue letter of acceptance to contractor, and 11 . Prepare completion certificate and finally handover the project to BUP.
