Description of the Project:
The main objective of this project is to provide a safe drinking water supply for 148 Pourashavas of Different districts of Bangladesh having no piped water supply system. The objectives of the study project are in details are as follows: Identify safe drinking water sources from hazardous chemicals, especially arsenic contamination.
Conduct a feasibility study to determine the ground/surface source to make sure about the quality of water, as well as to ensure a potential perennial source. Determine water demand and level of service, and formulate design criteria to satisfy the basic needs. Preparation of master plans for each town on water supply, sanitation, and drainage issues. Carrying out economic and financial analysis to determine the affordability of the beneficiaries and formulating a cost recovery mechanism, including a tariff strategy
Services Provided:
Review of the existing Hydrological and Morphological Study Report. Carry out and prepare the topographical features of the project area. Detailed hydrological analysis of the project area. Soil investigation, Topographic Survey, EIA study, etc. Preliminary design, detailed working design & drawings. Preparation of detailed cost estimate, tender documents, and bill of quantities. Drainage, Culverts, Water treatment Plant (Surface & IRP), Sanitation, and Solid waste components. Evaluation of tender bids and assisting the Owner in awarding the work to the selected worker. Detailed supervision of the construction work to ensure the quality of work as per the specification
