Project Description:

The Roads and Highways Department is set to engage a consulting firm for the “Project Assistance Consultancy Services” aimed at developing two significant regional highways during the 2023-2024 period under the Road Division of Brahmanbaria. The primary aim of this initiative is to construct a 37.75 km flexible pavement on the Bhulta-Arihazar-Nabinagar-Shibpur-Radhika (R-203) Highway. The Sarail-Nasirnagar-Lakhai Road forms part of the larger Sarail-Nasirnagar-Lakhai-Habigonj Regional Highway. This road, measuring 25.13 km within the Brahmanbaria district, currently falls short of the regional highway standards in terms of width, with most sections only 5.50 meters wide.

 

Services Provided:

  • Supervise the construction works as per design and specification;
  • Ensure both quality and quantity of the construction works;
  • Ensure the operational service level of the Highway;
  • Recommend and verify bills submitted by the contractors;
  • Ensure proper testing of the materials and construction method;
  • Ensure and supervise proper construction safety plan;
  • Supervise the environmental management plan;
  • Provide consultancy services as per the requirements of RHD and to follow the necessary remedial measures of construction works from the direction of RHD;
