Description of the Project:

Prestress post-tensioned segmental box girder bridge varying depth 4.5m at pier head and 2.5m at the mid span supported on 3.5m diameter steel filled with concrete driven pile. Repair of Cracks inside the Box Girder and strengthening of the Superstructure of the Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge.

Services Provided:

Finding out the causes of developed cracks and suggesting appropriate remedial measures. Performed structural modeling, analysis, overall review of design, and checking of as-built drawings, and prepared tender documents, including specifications for design and construction to help the Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Authority select the contractor to carry out the repair works of the developed cracks, construction of wearing course, and other related works of the Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge, and to supervise the construction. Also responsible for management, monitoring, and organizing the design team for reviewing and evaluation of all design criteria adopted in the earlier/previous design and implementation, rectification of the Project.
